TEXT 29HAPPINES
There is an old story about how God and his angels discussed where the secret of life should be hidden. They wanted to hide it in a place where it would be very difficult to find.
One suggested the center of the earth, another suggested the bottom of the sea, and a third suggested the top of the highest mountain. Then a fourth angel said: “men will eventually search out all these places. The only play to hide the secret of life is within people themselves. They will never dream of looking there”.
Decide to be happy today and to live with what is yours: your family, your business, your job and your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can’t have what you have. Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding.
Be your best and dress your best. Talk softly. Look on the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do, and don’t criticize them for what they don’t do. If someone does something stupid forgive and forget. After all just for a day.
Dive deeply inside yourself. You’ll probably find the secret of a happy life in there.

TEXT 27LEADERSHIP
The world cannot be divided into the weak and the strong, or those who success and those who fail, or those who make it and those who do not. It can be divided into learners and non-learners. There are those who are open to what happens around them, who learn from their experiences, when they do something stupid they don’t do it again.
When they do something that works, they try to do it better the next time. Therefore, the question to ask is not whether you are a success or failure, but whether you are learner or a non-learner.
Young people starting out in business and industry are often surprised to learn that they will be judge for their leadership skills more than for their technical skills. Studies show that success is about 80% leadership skills, and only 20% technical skills. Obviously, people must be knowledge able in their fields, but the greatest success and financial reward will go those who have a greater ability to express ideas, to assume leadership to arouse enthusiasm and cooperation, in short, the ability to bring out the best in others.
An important feature of leaders is enthusiasm, one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do something, do it with all your might. Put your soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be faithful, and you will accomplish your objective.
The probability of becoming a good leader is huge.

TEXT 25OPPORTUNITY
Opportunities are often not noticed the first time around, especially became they are disguised as hard work.
Superficial opportunities come easily. The much tougher challenges will usually bring a lot more opportunity.
The willingness to do what is difficulty is like having a key to success.
Hard work is universal. Regardless of what industry you’re in, hard work can be used to achieve positive long-term results.
Being healthy, finding and maintaining a successful relationship, raising kids, getting organized, increasing income, being happy, setting goals, making plans to achieve them, and staying on track are all hard work.
All of these tasks demand attention, time, discipline, commitment and many other qualities found in achievers. The only way to get certain things is with a lot of hard work.
Dealing with challenger enhances character. You should not limit yourself to experiences that can be obtained passively or easily. Much more of what you can be gotten by being willing to take on bigger challenger.
If people always limited themselves to choosing the easiest alternatives, no one would ever learn to read, write, or type. No one would ever get a college degree, start their own business, learn to speak another language or play in instrument, etc.
Hard work is something to look forward to because it will probably lead to growth. Hard work help us to develop the maturity and responsibility to understand that the things we wish for will not just automatically flow into our lives.
Hard work makes the difference. It’s what separates children from mature adults. As you spend more time outside your comfort zone, you will find that character development is a pleasurable experience.
Strong purpose depends on hard work.

TEXT 23GETTING ALONG WITH PEOPLE
Live and let live seems like good advice for getting along with people, but getting along with family, friends, and coworkers is not always that simple.
One important aspect of getting along with people is learning to tolerate differences in personality, life style, and individual tastes.
Especially in a work environment, we are bound to come in contact with people, who look, speak, and think differently than we do. It is important that we not let such differences interfere with our relationship on the job. Success in professional life defends on getting along well with all types of people.
Learning to tolerate differences of opinion is also essential to getting along with others. Our co-workers may sometimes have different ideas than we do about how things should be done.
Even if we disagree with their plans or proposals, we must try to remember that, most of the time, they are just as interested in solving problems as we are. Getting angry at someone we disagree with will not solve anything. Also, never forget that we may be wrong and they may be right!
Getting along with people requires tact as well as tolerance. Tact is the art of communicating with people in a way that will not needlessly offend them. If we have to tell someone something that we know is not going to please them, we can’t at least try to do it in a way that does not provoke anger and resentment.
Finally, having a positive attitude is a big help in getting along with everyone everywhere.
People who smile, encourage others, and look on the bright side of life, generally get along with others much better than those who don’t. Don’t forget, however, that these things are no substitute for sincerity and hard work, especially on the job.
The superior performance of experts is often very specific.
The superior qualities for experts’ mental representations allow them to adapt to and anticipate future events in advance. It is essential that experts be able to monitor their own performance, so that they can continuously improve it by training more and assimilating new knowledge.

TEXT 21PERSISTENCE
Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common that unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination are the best qualities to have. The slogan “Press on” has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.
Persistence is the ability to keep acting, regardless of your feelings.
When you are working on any important goal, you’ll sometimes feel motivated you won’t. But it’s not your motivation that will produce results, it’s your actions. Persistence allows you don’t feel motivated to do so. You press on even when you feel like quitting.
Persistence will provide motivation. If you simply keep taking action, you’ll eventually get results, and results can be very motivating.
In order to make room for new goals, we have to complete or leave aside old ones. Sometimes new goals are so inspiring that there’s no time to complete old ones, and they have to be abandoned half-finished. It might be discomforting to do this, but sometimes it’s necessary.
The hard part is consciously deciding to abandon and old project, knowing it will never be finished.
The value of persistence does not come from stubbornly maintaining your commitment to a goal that no longer directs you to self-growth. Rather, it comes from a vision of the future that’s so compelling you would give almost anything to make it real.
Persistence of action comes from persistence of vision. When you have a clear and constant vision of what you want, you’ll be consistent in your actions. And that consistency of action will produce.

TEXT 1: SPIRITUALITY
Spirituality is the part of a person life that has to do with becoming a better person. Everyone has a spiritual side to their personality, even if they do not think about it very much. We need to pay attention to our spiritual life if we want to be happy and successful.
Spirituality has an inner and an outer aspect. The outer aspect is about what we do-how we treat our families, our friends, our business associates with every day. Kind, honest, and helpful actions are the outward signs of spirituality.
The inner aspect of spirituality is about what we think and feel. Am I being honest with myself and with others? Am I doing my best? Is my mind at peace? How can I improve as a parent, as a son or daughters, as a student, as a coworkers? Asking ourselves questions like these when we are at home or by ourselves is part of inner spirituality. Another part is prayer, which we can do alone or together with others.
Most of us have to find a way to make spirituality combine with our family and work responsibilities. Many people practice inner spirituality by taking some time out every week to go to church, and by taking a little time out every day to pray and read the Bible, then they take the lesson they have learned in these daily lives.
The important thing to remember is that good thoughts and good feelings are meaning without good actions. On the other hand without good ideas and good attitudes, good actions are difficult or impossible. In the end, however, people will judge you by your actions – what you feel and think only matters to yourself.
